As I have been saying on the show for years, and as you've been saying on numerous occasions, we don't need quotas to have a valuable society. We need smart people in the right places doing the job based on rational, and sometimes exacting standards.
Said differently, we hire to skill and not to race, religion or gender.
When you hire to race, religion or gender, and not to skill, people get hurt. In the world of medicine, people will get killed. And far too many med schools and hospital groups seem fine with that trade-off; they will accept people dying as long as they can show that they have the "right" amount of black, brown, hispanic, gay, trans, non-binary or whatever other category they deem necessary to prove how "decent" they are."
We need doctors and nurses who are good at their craft, who understand how the procedures work and who received no social promotion. We want doctors and nurses who have EARNED their place. Rational people don't care if their doctor is black or gay or white or (insert group here.) they care if their doctor is competent. And anyone who doesn't is out of their mind and in desperate need of (qualified!) professional help.
Here's more proof that the "woke" way will get people killed. We need to stop this. The pressure has to be enormous. And like we saw with Columbia and a host of other universities, the donations to these woke med schools and hospital groups have to stop. And then, hopefully, we stop this madness and we get qualified professionals in our lives.

Joe Rogan had comedian Bobby Lee on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, and they discussed how far left the political left has moved in their lifetimes.
What has happened on the left? In the past several decades of politics, you have seen that the Right/Left/Center dynamic has all but disappeared. The Left kept going to the left, dragging the centrists along with it. What we have ended up with is an absurdly radical far left and leftists. The centrists did not stay in the center.
Obamacare was once a radical proposition from the left. In 14 short years, Obamacare is now centrist, and the Left today wants to enslave doctors to universal healthcare. This is how far things have moved.
Joe Rogan sees this, stating that he "can't even see" the left. From "gender affirming" care to the release of violent criminals from jail and the societal collapse in San Francisco, he doesn't understand what happened to the political Left.
