How could this have happened? Because too many people, especially those in positions of leadership, don't know history. Why didn't they do any research? Because their own version of history is all that matters. Their world started yesterday.
The speaker has since stepped down, claiming no one else knew. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blamed it on Russian propaganda. The Russians have been making the claim that Ukrainians are nazis, and now Speaker Rota and Justin Trudeau have given them ammuinition.
