A teacher of the Hernando County School District in Florida is under investigation by the Florida Department of Education for showing a movie called “Strange World” in her classroom of 10-year-old children, which features a gay character with a crush on another man.
What was the purpose of this movie in the classroom? Is this to address questions children have or to open a door for the teacher to engage in ideological indoctrination? To open the door for teachers to talk to kids about sexuality and gender ideology behind the backs of the parents.
How about teaching math and English?
