The Air Force has taken 'full responsibility' for the leak of Jennifer Ruth Green's military records, including information about a sexual assault incident.
When a congressional candidate has her military records leaked by the Air Force, you would think that is a story. Where is so-called reporter Adam Wren to follow-up on his Poltico piece in which he spread confidential information, LYING about how he came about it, in order to pen a hit piece for Poltico.
Indiana Reps. Jim Banks and Larry Bucshon said the records were provided to 'an opposition research firm' ahead of the state's Nov. 8 election. So not a FOIA request, as Adam Wren claimed.
Politico Playbook? Never again. The malpractice alone should enrage reporters.
The failure upon failure of news directors and anchors in Indiana and beyond is appalling. A female, black, veteran, potentially historic congressional candidate had her confidential military records leaked. Where is the outrage in her defense? The calls for an investigation?
Because Jennifer Ruth Green is a Republican, standards and ethics are out the window.
